Dr Selim Ahmed - Chair of GB
With a passion for education, Dr Selim has taken leading teaching roles in the universities of Birmingham, Oxford, Southampton and Reading. As a consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Selim encourages a teamwork ethic through building competence and appreciation. Service, innovation and leading improvement motivates Dr Selim to continually improve the outcomes for pupils at Harmony Primary School.

Mr Irfaan Momin - Vice Chair of GB
Irfaan has been dedicated to education and community initiatives throughout his career, previously serving as a trustee for a school offering primary, secondary, and international education. He was a founding member of the Patchwork Foundation, where he contributed to its early mission, and served on the Finance Committee for Mosaic, part of The Prince’s Trust. He has held director-level roles in marketing and serves as a consultant for technology start-ups.

Mr Ibrar Hussain
Ibrar Hussain is a Chartered Accountant, qualified through Deloitte’s Audit graduate scheme, with a degree in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics. His professional experience has provided him with a background in financial management, governance, and compliance. Having grown up in Harrow, Ibrar is dedicated to support effective decision-making, accountability, and educational excellence, collaborating with school leadership to enhance pupil outcomes and further the school’s mission.

Mr Zubair Shah
With a strong background in finance and education, Zubair brings valuable expertise to his role as a school governor. As an Audit Assistant Manager at KPMG and an ACA-qualified professional with the ICAEW, Zubair offers in-depth knowledge in financial oversight and strategic planning. Zubair is committed to supporting Harmony Primary School with his financial skills, educational experience and passion.
