Our Pupil Voice

Our Pupil Council

At Harmony Primary School, the Pupil Council plays a vital role in fostering leadership, responsibility and teamwork among our pupils. Comprising class representatives from each year group, the council provides a platform for pupils to voice their ideas, concerns, and suggestions to improve the school environment. Grounded in our school’s value of Community, Excellence, Discipline, Achievement and Respect, the Pupil Council works closely with teachers and support staff to organise events, promote charitable initiatives and enhance their school.

The Pupil Council is committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels heard and valued. By engaging in projects that benefit both the school and the wider community, the council encourages a sense of social responsibility rooted in Islamic teachings. Whether planning school events, organizing fundraising activities for those in need, or implementing eco-friendly initiatives, our student leaders will exemplify the values of kindness, compassion, and teamwork. Ultimately, the Pupil Council empowers students to take an active role in shaping their school experience while nurturing their character in alignment with our school’s Islamic principles.

How are you Feeling today?

At Harmony, we have introduced a ‘Feelings Box’ to support our pupils’ emotional well-being. This initiative provides a confidential avenue for pupils to express their thoughts, worries, or suggestions by submitting written notes into the designated box. Regularly monitored by our pastoral care team, this system ensures that each child’s voice is heard and addressed appropriately. By encouraging open communication, we aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment where students feel valued and understood, aligning with our commitment to their holistic development.

Pupil Survey

At Harmony Primary School, we conduct an annual pupil survey to actively engage our students in shaping their educational experience. This confidential survey invites pupils to share their thoughts on various aspects of school life, including teaching quality, extracurricular activities, and overall well-being. By gathering this feedback, we aim to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that our educational environment aligns with the needs and aspirations of our students. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, where every child’s voice is valued and contributes to the continuous enhancement of our school’s offerings.
